Money as an organizing and distributing force is much too centralized. We need to think of mechanisms, which decentralize this huge power. Money as we know it may not be the answer. Since money is just a social-cognitive method / tool to organize the transfer of wealth, a solution to the centralization dilemma has to be formulated at the same social-psychological level. Giving may be considered the smallest unit of description to start from.
The liberation of this fundamental act in human interaction from the limiting constraints of ex-change, the reciprocation model, will have to occur on many levels, be they economic, legal, social and psychological. The principal liberating force, however, must be psychological: A thorough understanding of the purpose of unconditional-, or absolute giving.
